Lower Allen, PA -- Lower Allen Township Commissioner Thomas Kutz announced that he is launching a "Summer of Small Business Tour" of Lower Allen Township. Kutz made the announcement in his Commissioner's Report at the regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners on June 22. Kutz made the following statement after the announcement:
"Our small businesses play such a vital role in our local economy, and it's important to seek input from business owners to learn how their businesses have been affected by COVID-19."
Kutz will meet with business owners throughout the township to discuss the impact of COVID-19 and ways the township can help charter economic recovery.
"Government functions best when it is listening first and foremost. By working with business owners, we can grow our local economy and improve the quality of life for our residents," Kutz said.
Thomas Kutz is a third-generation Lower Allen Township resident and former Congressional staffer. Kutz is serving a four-year term through the end of 2023.
