Kutz Moves for Adoption of Balanced 2021 Budget

LOWER ALLEN, PA--Lower Allen Township Commissioner Thomas Kutz moved for the adoption of the 2021 budget for the township, which the Board of Commissioners passed unanimously. Kutz's unanimous motion set in place a budget for the township that will be delivered on time, balanced, and with no tax increases.

"Tonight, I moved to adopt the 2021 budget for Lower Allen Township. The budget was delivered on time, balanced, and with no tax increase. I am proud that the 2021 budget includes funds to improve service levels for our first responders and supports projects that will improve our aging infrastructure. This is the kind of fiscally responsible budget I plan to deliver for our taxpayers every year I serve on the Board of Commissioners."

The $16.8 million budget includes funding for body cameras funding for Lower Allen police officers, upgrades to aging equipment for Lower Allen Fire Company, and improvements to the township's Public Works fleet. The budget also includes funds to resurface residential streets.
